Ojafrik Investments is the brain child of a few finance and agribusiness experts, who have sought alternative solutions to age long problems of funding SMEs in general with particular focus in the agribusiness sector. Our motivation lies in developing simple finance solutions and alternatives to address funding gaps in the agribusiness and SMEs funding ecosystem as it cuts across the entire value chain of each chosen transaction - from production, logistics, warehousing, processing, trade and export.

Our objective is to approach agribusiness and indeed other SMEs financing wholistically across the entire value chain in order to adequately reduce the attendant risks across the linkages; this we believe is the main challenge with traditional banks and the reason there remains high levels of loan default with the traditional banks.
